Roddy Batson

Roddy has been working in the Mental Health field as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse since 1984, with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Education specialising in Guidance and Counselling for many years in private and agency settings; having worked in various communities including Brandon, Garden Hill First Nation, Nunavut, and many various First Nation communities throughout Manitoba. Roddy has developed and delivered many presentations and workshops as part of his practice.

Roddy has worked collaboratively with, (Nurses - Physicians - Social Workers) families, community members and various community health programs such as N.A.D.A.P., C.F.S., and Probations. In these capacities as a Mental Health Practitioner, Roddy provided clinical and psycho/social assessments, client treatment plans, counselling and treatment strategies to assist clients to address their needs.
